Teavaro Consent Manager

You can enable the Teavaro Consent Manager via the Web SDK see Web SDK | Teavaro Consent Management.

To configure purposes / permissions as per your requirements, please contact helpdesk@teavaro.com.

The default purposes include:

  1. Marketing and social networks

  2. Analytics tracking

  3. Personal offers

Only if Analytics tracking consent is granted, the Info Ident Track call is fired for the purpose of tracking. Events related to the Teavaro Consent Manager (consent window shown, button clicks, etc.) are tracked regardless of the user consent.

The Teavaro Consent Manager notification comes by default with the following template, which can be customised as needed:

  "descriptionUtiqCookiesText": "<p><u>Activation details:</u></p><p>As part of the activation of the technology, Utiq confirms this using your IP address. If confirmed, your IP address is shared with your telecom operator to create a pseudonymous identifier ('Network Signal'). This is done by matching your IP address to a reference to the telecom account associated with the connection (e.g. telecom account number or mobile number). This identifier is then provided to Utiq, without sharing other personal data. Utiq uses it to operate the technology which involves the creation of additional identifiers, including marketing specific ones, with limited duration, as described in Utiq’s privacy statement. These are stored in your browser along with first party cookies and other device storage information.</p><p><u>Usage by this website:</u></p><p>We only receive the marketing identifiers from Utiq. We use them for activities like personalising ads or content and analytics on this and other websites using the Utiq technology, depending on the consents you gave. They help us understand your browsing behaviour and connect visits across <u>our website(s)</u> (only if you agree to the activation of the Utiq technology on each one separately). These identifiers are also shared with partner advertising platforms, where needed to conduct the specific marketing or analytics activities. </p><p><u>What are Utiq privacy controls?</u></p><p>The Utiq technology is designed around privacy: it uses minimal personal data, secure, time-limited identifiers, and limits data sharing. Utiq also offers a self-serve privacy portal ('<a href='https://consenthub.utiq.com/' rel='nofollow'><u>consenthub</u></a>') to exercise your privacy rights.</p><p>For more details, visit <a href='https://consenthub.utiq.com/pages/privacy-statement' rel='nofollow'><u>Utiq’s privacy statement</u></a>.</p>"

Add or modify the following fields' content as per latest Utiq requirements.

First layer:

  • mainDescription

Second layer (cookie settings):

  • titleUtiqCookies

  • summaryUtiqCookiesText

  • descriptionUtiqCookiesText

Additional CSS styles can be applied as per current website theme. The files can be found in specific /themes folder.

Client configuration file setup

Once the template has been configured, go to the client configuration file and add:

JS
FC_CONF = {
  //...
  UTIQ_CONFIGURATION: {
    enableConsentIntegration: true,
  },
  //...
}

Google Tag Manager setup

In the Web Container, create a new Custom HTML tag with the following script:

HTML
<script>

window.Utiq = window.Utiq || {};
window.Utiq.queue = window.Utiq.queue || [];
window.Utiq.API = window.Utiq.API || {};

window.Teavaro = window.Teavaro || {};
window.Teavaro.config = window.Teavaro.config || {};
window.Teavaro.config.listeners = window.Teavaro.config.listeners || {};

window.Teavaro.config.listeners.onPermissionsChange = function(permissions) {
  window.Utiq.queue.push(function() {
    window.Utiq.API.handleConsentChange(permissions.permissions.utiq);
  });
};

window.Utiq.config = {
  CMP: 'none',
  customizationOptions: {
    buttons: {
      bodyColor: '#ff0066',
      textColor: '#000000',
      radius: 5,
    },
    contentTextColor: '#000000',
  },
};
(function () {
  var utilLoaderScript = document.createElement('script');
  utilLoaderScript.type = 'text/javascript';
  utilLoaderScript.src = 'https://domain.com/utiqLoader.js';
  document.head.appendChild(utilLoaderScript);
})();
</script>

Regarding https://docs.utiq.com/docs/integrated-model-utiq-cmp-apis our library handles all required event listeners.

The tag should be loaded with every page load regardless of the consent state and it should be executed after the tag for Teavaro’s Web SDK (fcTag.js).

Edit the Custom HTML tag for Teavaro’s Web SDK (fcTag.js) and add Tag Sequencing:

The trigger section of the Utiq loader tag should look like:
