FunnelManager offers a robust suite of tools designed to streamline the processes of audience segmentation, campaign activation, and profile testing, all while ensuring data compliance and integration capabilities.

At its core, the Audience Segmentation feature leverages a Segment Builder to enable users to select categorised data fields crucial for defining audience rules. Real-time testing and exclusion logic further refine these segments, facilitating accurate audience composition assessments before deployment.

Campaign Activation takes these audience definitions and enable their distribution through a variety of channels, supported by a straightforward creation wizard. Compliance management and seamless data integration are integral, ensuring that campaigns adhere to regulatory standards. The platform supports a range of activation methods including onsite personalisation, third-party platform integrations, and trigger-based communications, all of which can be scheduled and managed directly within the tool. These capabilities are further expanded with our Data Integrations capabilities.

Profile Testing provides the ability to simulate different user scenarios and validate profile attributes, consents, and notifications. Test profiles can be managed efficiently, ensuring they remain isolated from production data while enabling detailed testing of user interactions.

Audience Segmentation

Overview

Segments are central to FunnelManager’s data activation flows, enabling targeted and impactful services by defining specific audience groups. By utilising audience segments, you can create campaigns that are highly targeted and effective. Through a single 4-step wizard, FunnelManager enables easy distribution of audience data across diverse engagement channels.

Compliance and Data Integration

Compliance plays a crucial role in campaign management within FunnelManager. The platform allows you to apply permission rules to campaign audiences, ensuring all engagement activities adhere to regulatory standards using real-time customer data. Additionally, FunnelManager supports seamless integration with your preferred channels. You can define the marketing channels to which audience data will be sent, augmenting campaigns with channel-specific metadata to provide additional context and information.

Once the campaign details are set, define the schedule, setting the start and end dates, and deciding on audience refresh frequencies. The platform supports both saving and publishing of campaigns, providing flexibility in planning and execution.

The Campaign Summary provides a detailed view of each campaign, including status, category, audience information, and linked channels. It also includes estimates or reports giving insights into the available users within the campaign. Key controls for editing, duplicating, archiving, and deleting campaigns are easily accessible, along with direct controls for active campaigns.

  • Processing Report: Provides an overview of the current processing status of the campaign, detailing the steps and operations performed during the campaign setup and execution.

Profile Testing

Overview

The Profile Tester in FunnelManager is a powerful tool for simulating, managing, and testing user experiences by creating and modifying test profiles. It allows users to validate profile attributes, identifiers, consents, and notifications to ensure seamless campaign execution and audience interaction.

Key Features

  • Test Profile Management: Create, modify, and delete test profiles for accurate user simulations.

  • Profile Identifiers: Assign and control user identifiers, including encryptedMSISDN, Target ID, and device-level identifiers.

  • Attribute Editing: Add, modify, or remove user attributes to test different data scenarios.

  • Consent & Notification Testing: Manage user permissions and notification settings to ensure compliance and engagement.

  • Profile Lookup: Quickly access and review profile details without modifying data.

Managing Test Profiles

Users can create test profiles with unique identifiers and attributes, enabling a controlled environment for testing campaign interactions. Test profiles are flagged within our system, and are thus disregarded in certain processes so as not to impact the profile while in test use. These test profiles can be customised based on different categories and data points, with the ability to toggle identifiers and edit details as needed.

Profile Summary & Editing

Each test profile includes a summary view displaying profile identifiers, attributes, consents, and notifications. Users can activate or deactivate identifiers, manage attribute values, and modify permissions to simulate various user states to test user journeys and experiences.

Consent & Notification Management

Users can also add, edit, and remove consent settings, ensuring regulatory compliance and correct data processing, and the ability to test the variety of experiences linked to such compliance. Notifications can also be managed, enabling the testing of real-world communication flows such as email or SMS triggers.

Profile Lookup

For quick reference, there is also a Profile Lookup function, allowing users to retrieve profile details without marking the profile as a test profile. This feature streamlines troubleshooting and verification processes.

By leveraging FunnelManager’s Profile functionality, teams can ensure accurate campaign execution, improve user personalisation, and validate audience interactions, leading to more effective engagement outcomes.
